Force92

U11 season, the combined De Anza Force 92G Blue has won 14 tournaments, four fall league titles, two NorCal Soccer Premier championships, a Super Y League Pacific Northern California Section championship, a championship at US Club National Cup and most recently were crowned National Champions in Lancaster/MA, after being a finalist in Region IV and winning both the CYSA-N and NorCal State Cups in spring 2009. We are a U17 team, with a roster consisting of talented 2010 and 2011 players—almost all of whom hope to play soccer at the Division 1 collegiate level.

State Cup Winners • In 2009, De Anza Force 92G Blue wins both the CYSA-N and NorCal State Cups. This comes on the heels of a superb showing at the Las Vegas College Showcase in March 2009, where the team placed 2nd in the highly-competitive Red Bull bracket, and a 2nd place ranking in the Far West Regional League in fall 2008.

Top Tournaments • De Anza Force 92G Blue is regularly accepted to the top tournaments where college age players get seen and recruited. Over the past two years, we have played at the US Club Nationals (champions!), twice at Surf Cup (finalist in the 2008 U16G Super Group), twice at Las Vegas College Showcase (2nd place in both tourneys), at the Texas Shootout College Showcase (finalists in 2008), and in the elite Mustang Stampede Red Bull League.

The reputation of both the Force 92G Blue team and the Force soccer club has already helped attract the interest from dozens of NCAA Div I college coaches.

Coaching Staff • Force 92G Blue is coached by Shawn Medved, a former professional MLS soccer player who also played on the US National Team. Assistant Coaches are Ty Blair and Jay Gomez.
