Our De Anza Force team had recently seven seniors sign National Letters of
Intent. And they also have nine juniors already
committed for a total of 16 players going on to play NCAA Division I soccer.
This unparalleled accomplishment follows an
amazing year of success, the highlight being the win of the National
Championship.

July 26, 2009
Force92 girls win the National Championship series in Lancaster, MA.

June 21,
2009 DeAnza Force competes in Region
IV championship series in Lancaster/CA and places 2nd behind SoCal Blues.
Spring 2009
Force convincingly wins both NorCal and CYSA-N State Championships.
March 15,
2009 Force dominates
competition at Las Vegas College Showcase tournament, winning all four
games in the highly competitive
Red Bull bracket.
Nov.
22/23, 2008 DE ANZA FORCE BLUE to play at playoffs at Far West
Regional League. Competing with SoCal Blues, Real SoCal and
Camarillo Eagles for spot at next year's Far West Regionals.
August
4th, 2008 DE ANZA FORCE BLUE reach finals at Surf Cup -
U16G Super Group. After tying Arsenal FC in the group play,
Force92 defeated SoCal Blues in the quarter, and Surf White in the semis.
The team lost 1:0 in the final against the
Slammers.
June 1st,
2008 DE ANZA FORCE BLUE perform
exceptionally at the Texas Shootout tournament in Houston. In a rematch of the
Las Vegas Showcase final, the Force beats the D'feeters (#5 in the Nation) from
Texas 1:0.

ANZA FORCE BLUE MAKES IT TO LAS VEGAS SHOWCASE FINALS
The Force Girls made it to the finals with an impressive 5 game performance. In
Bracket play the Force went 3-0,
beating Montclair NJ 2-1, 2-0 over Nevada State Champion Neusport, and then 2-1
over Ohio Premier.
Then an early semifinal game in the cold and rain against Top 5 Nationally
Ranked Arsenal from Socal. Arsenal was a
regional runner up, and a national powerhouse. Arsenal also went 3-0 in bracket
play, winning 3-1 over MVLA, 3-0 over
Eclipse (TX), and 4-0 over Connecticut ODP.
The Force went into the wind and scored early, but got down 3-1 by half. The
Force team rallied in the second half, out-
playing Arsenal and pouring in 3 goals to win 4:3.
The final was a rematch of a Surf Cup opponent, D’feeters from Texas. The girls
played well, but came up short in a 2:0 loss.
All in all a great weekend of soccer and bonding for the team. Congrats to the
Vegas Finalists and good luck in State Cup!

2008 The Super Y League invited
10 players from the team to attend the National ODP camp in Florida. Seven
players
